THE PROBLEM
Green Dog had a premium product with average email presentation. The welcome flow looked like it was built in Klaviyo's default editor. No design. No brand voice. Just product images and basic copy that could've been copied & pasted for any pet brand. The emails didn't reflect what makes Green Dog different. The craftsmanship. The founder story. The fact that Boris the dog literally quality-tests every collar. The materials weren't positioned as a selling point. The brand personality was somewhat blended in. Subscribers were landing in a flow that didn't do the brand justice. For a brand built on handmade quality and personal touch, the emails felt like a restrictor.
THE SOLUTION (WHAT WE DID)
We rebuilt the flow with design that matches the product quality. Clean layouts. Strong visual hierarchy. Images that show the collars as premium. We introduced angles that show authenticity in themselves, and in the brand as a result. Playing into the founder story. Using animal language and wit. Turning features like "only 5 materials" into selling points instead of footnotes. Calling out what other brands hide. Making every email feel like it's useful to read. We turned drop-off points into conversion opportunities. Every potential exit got addressed. Every objection got handled. Every email moved subscribers closer to seeing this as an investment, with the design giving the brand a branded, premium tone. Now Green Dog has a welcome flow that matches the brand, a system that maximizes conversions without losing the personal touch that makes the brand awesome.
