THE PROBLEM

UndrDog Hemp had built a powerful brand story on their website, but their email presence was not as strong. They weren’t leveraging the channel to deepen customer relationships, as it was still in the setup stage. Their messaging lived on the website, but died after checkout.

THE SOLUTION (WHAT WE DID)

We translated their existing brand voice and story into a 3-piece welcome flow that turned new subscribers into members of a club. Instead of starting from scratch, we pulled the best angles from their site copy. Notable angles were the founder story, material science, health concerns and unique selling strategies. We restructured them into a strategic sequence that educated, entertained, and converted.

Email 1 reinforced the purchase decision immediately. We hit them with social proof, introduced the unique brand mechanism as the antidote to common cheap (harmful) materials used by competitors, and used a direct comparison to show why their apparel outlasts the competition.

Email 2 went deeper into the founder’s origin story, and positioned UndrDog as the solution the founder built after realizing the entire industry was selling garbage.

We took a brand with a killer story and minimal email strategy, then reincarnated their messaging into a cohesive narrative arc. This leaves readers engaged and touched by a simple mechanism with a touching philosophy.
